Kick-off next4TU.HTM Committee

On Friday 26th of April, the 4TU.Centre High-Tech Materials took a next step in its organisation and installed a fresh board to build and serve a thriving, diverse and inclusive materials science community. The next4TU.HTM Committee consists of two representatives of each of the universities collaborating within 4TU.HTM.

Stimulating the development of a young network and organizing activities specifically aimed for a young community seems to meet the needs of early-career materials scientists within the Netherlands. 4TU.HTM provides the next4TU.HTM Committee with the possibilities to initiate all kinds of activities for the best of a next4TU.HTM community.

“I would like to be inspired by researchers from other institutes, to understand what they are passionate about, what their struggles are, and to find out what the next4TU.HTM Committee can do to bring researchers from the 4TUs (and beyond) closer.”
Lu Zhang
Wageningen University

“The key role of materials science and engineering in enabling technological advances and overcoming societal challenges cannot be overemphasized — I am honored to be part of the 4TU.HTM community and do my part in empowering materials research throughout the country”
