Closing event 4TU.RSC 2024-2025 - Delft University of Technology, 16 June 2025
On a sunny day in Delft the three Master Honours student groups of the third edition of the 4TU.Responible Sustainability Challenge presented their final reports. Moreover, the 16th of June marked the closure of an interesting collaborative journey of 4TU.Centres, Honours Offices, and university teachers of four technical universities.
The closing event of the 4TU.RSC was hosted by dr. Shoshan Abrahami at Delft University of Technology, and jointly organized by 4TU.High-Tech Materials and the Honours Programme Delft (HPD) Coordinator.
Students presented their final reports in interactive sessions with everyone involved: supervisors, core teachers and honours offices directors and coordinators.
Students presented their work perfomed in collaboration with stakeholders and case providers: Alliander-AI Lab, Quantum Energy & Engineering, and NMI.
The 4TU.RSC has been completed by students of Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology and University of Twente.
The 4TU.RSC was supervised by the core team teachers of TU Delft, TU/e and UTwente: Dr.ir. Shoshan Abrahami (Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering), Dr. ir. Maja Rücker (Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology), and Dr.ir. Elham Shirazi (Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Sustainable Products & Energy Systems).
Second live event 4TU.RSC 2024-2025 - Eindhoven University of Technology, 8 May 2025
The Entrepreneurship Workshop of 4TU.Responsible Sustainability Challenge brought together students, researchers, and industry experts around one goal: building a sustainable future through innovation. The event was hosted by Maja Rücker (Course Coordinator of Eindhoven University of Technology), organized by 4TU.Energy with the support of the TU/e Honors Academy!
The day kicked off with an inspiring keynote from Annemiek Bles (Brainport Eindhoven), who shared how Energy Hubs can accelerate the energy transition — and why valorization, turning research into real-world impact, is essential to that journey.
Then the spotlight turned to the students of the 4TU.RSC. Their presentations were bold, creative, and grounded in responsibility. From rethinking resources to designing smarter systems, they showed what the next generation of sustainable entrepreneurs can do.
We also joined the interactive Public Entrepreneurship Workshop led by Bart van Grevenhof (The Gate), which challenged participants to explore how tech-driven ideas can scale into real ventures.
After a walk through the GO Green Office, we wrapped up with an inspiring entrepreneurship story from SOLID, who shared their mission and progress with us.
