4TU Centre for Resilience Engineering (4TU RE) makes every effort to protect your privacy. In this privacy statement we will explain how we handle your personal data. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This statement applies to 4TU RE website and the 4TU RE aanmelder websites which we use for event registration.
Collecting personal data
4TU RE makes use of software to analyse the number of visitors to its web pages and their click behaviour. This is based on your IP address (Internet Protocol address). The aim of this is to optimise, as far as possible, the information available and the way in which it is presented. The software does not analyse your identity and is used solely for the purpose outlined above.

The information that 4TU RE collects about you cannot be accessed by everyone. Only employees and persons working for 4TU have access to information and then only if they need it in order to do their job.

- Government authorities (f.e. Ministry or Education, Culture and Science, the Immigration and Naturalisation Service and the Tax Authorities);

4TU RE retains your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. The data is retained in accordance with the statutory retention period and for no longer than is strictly necessary in order to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected.

4TU RE attaches great importance to protecting your privacy and takes appropriate measures in order to do so. We take organizational and technical measures to ensure that it is safe for you to visit our website. We use the available resources to minimize the risk of unauthorized persons gaining access to your personal details or unlawful use or disclosure of your details.
Of course you have the right to consult, correct or delete your personal data. You can submit a request by sending us an email. 4TU RE will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks.
