My current research activities focus on two main topics: 1) institutional integration of energy transition and climate adaptation in urban settings as part of the RETSI research project; 2) drought resilience in context of the 4TU DeSIRE program which I joined in March 22. I work as a postdoctoral researcher in the civil engineering department of the University of Twente.
My background is in environmental science and water resources engineering and I hold a PhD in water management. Specifically I looked at various aspects related to pharmaceuticals in water systems by integrating pollution modelling with social science methods. The integration of diverse methods as well as perspectives on environmental problems has caught my interest and I am looking forward to intensify this work in the context of resilience engineering.
