Summary
Using recent IPCC reports an update is given on latest climate science developments. Extreme weather events like sea-level rise and droughts become more important. Measures to be taken are introduced: what needs to be done to build climate-resilient societies. A key element of such resilient societies is sustainability. Examples are given.
