Davoud Hosseinnezhad

Davoud is a postdoctoral researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), with a research focus in the areas of Operations Research and simulation modeling. His primary interests lie in the development and application of OR models and simulaiton techniques, including System Dynamics and Agent-Based Modeling, to analyze supply chain systems.

In addition to modeling and optimization, Davoud is interested in the use of game theory to explore competitive and collaborative strategies for long-term decisions in business. His research also covers energy markets, buyer-supplier relationships, and supply chain resilience, with a particular emphasis on the role of collaboration in enhancing systems’ ability to adapt and recover from disruptions.

Davoud completed his studies at the University of Limerick (UL) in Ireland. He served as an 0.5 Assistant Professor at UL from September 2023 to September 2024 and continued lecturing there until February 2025. In 2023, he was also a visiting researcher at the Business School of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Massachusetts, USA. He holds both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Industrial Engineering.
