The Annual Report 2022 of the 4TU.Federation is available. In the annual report you get a good picture of the diverse initiatives in which the technical universities work together in research, education and valorization.

RESEARCH
- The connecting capacity building program 'High Tech for a Sustainable Future' continues with four new programs in which scientific talents work together on socially relevant themes including personalized healthcare (RECENTRE), the heat-free green city (HERITAGE), green, biodegradable sensors (Green sensors) and a local, person-centered food system (REDESIGN).
EDUCATION
- The topic of "intake in technical education" was the focus of 2022. Enrollment in technical education lags behind in relation to total enrollment. The midterm report of the Sector Plan Education STEM has been completed. Current progress is tracked at https://www4tu.nl/onderwijs/sectorplan-betatechniek/.
VALORIZATION
- The 4TU.Impact activity plan 2022-2025 has been launched. A variety of events have been organized within the five pillars of this plan. The drivers of innovation in the Netherlands are highlighted in the series Insightful Innovators.
