The 4TU.Federation is joining forces in the field of education in order to train the engineer of the future.
Within the 4TU.Centre for Engineering Education (4TU.CEE) there is intensive cooperation in the field of research into innovation of engineering education. In the Dutch 'sectorplan bètatechniek' , 4TU is leading the seven joints projects to make engineering programmes attractive for students, to increase the national training capacity for these programmes and to contribute to reducing the cap on engineering studies. The twenty post-Master Designers programmes (Engineering Docotrates) of the four universities have been combined in the 4TU.Stan Ackermans Institute (4TU.SAI).
Under the title of '4TU.Education', the Education Administration Committee is responsible for the planning and collaboration of 4TU in the area of education and supervises the education centres (4TU.CEE and 4TU.SAI) and their boards. 4TU.Education is formed by the portfolio holders Education of the Executive Boards of the four Technical Universities.
