Research on educational innovations in Engineering EducationĀ
Educational innovations at Higher Engineering Education. That is the subject of the 3TU.CEE's Innovation map project team. Chantal Brans (TU/e), Dury Bayram-Jacobs (TU Delft) and Hans van den Berg (UT) constitute the team. The aim of the project is to stimulate engineering education innovations in our own institutions and to share knowledge about these innovations with the wider university engineering community. For the purpose of inspiration of engineering teachers, we have to date already collected some thirty 3TU cases, available as āInnovation Mapā items on the 3TU.CEE website.
To inform and guide our work we have carried out a literature review - the report of which nears completion -, and we've conducted most of about 45 interviews with individual educational directors of the 3 TUās.
In the coming months, the interview results will be analysed and this analysis, after validation by a selection of 3TU's teachers and students, will generate practical how-to guidance for engineering teachers. To share the results with the wider public, it is also intended toĀ present a paper at the CDIO conference.
We very much look forward toĀ the results of our research. We hope you are, too. For now, please visit theĀ innovation mapĀ and (or) contact us if you want to know more.
