I'm a member of the Information Technology Group of Wageningen University. We teach many courses to an ever increasing number of students. Peer review is one of the things that can help keeping education tractable without losing quality, I think. This is what we try to find out within our current innovation project.

Individual peer-to-peer review of weekly group assignments
With increasing student numbers, peer review is an attractive method to engage students in evaluating group work. Students can learn from their peers’ work, and the work load of the teacher(s) decreases.
