Highlights in Newsletter October 2025 about 4TU.Energy

The October issue of the 4TU.Federation newsletter opened with an excellent group photograph taken during the two-day hackathon-workshop held at the University of Twente.

The newsletter announced the launch of the GroenvermogenNL Ideation Labs. This initiative brings entrepreneurial researchers and students from various universities and institutes together to explore the market and societal potential of their research. It is a collaboration between 4TU and Groenvermogen NL, and will run for five months.

Furthermore, the newsletter announced two 4TU.Energy activities: the start of the 4TU.Energy-Deloitte course: Future of Energy Business, 10 november 2025 and the 4TU.Energy PhD course, 13-14 November.

Highlights in Newsletter June 2025 about 4TU.Energy

The June 2025 issue of the 4TU.Federation newsletter extensively covered the activities of 4TU.Energy:

The hackathon-workshop on energy transition in buildings, which was held in September 2025, was announced. A recap of the joint 4TU.HTM & 4TU.Energy workshop was published. This workshop, which took place in Utrecht, successfully brought together early-stage researchers in energy materials (one of the ten priorities in the National Technology Strategy) to find common ground, share expertise and explore future collaborations.

The 'Meet our Energizer!' interview with Peyman Taheri was included. And, last but not least, the newsletter addressed briefly the 4TU.Energy funds for collaborations and community activities, explaining the tangible outcomes of funded projects and new funding opportunities.

The latest 4TU.Federation’s newsletter is packed with interesting developments at the Centres. The 4TU centre for Energy is notably visible with an article on rewarded funding for Energy Technology Materials and with three events:

The Energy Community Day 2025, read the report on this successful event; the upcoming 4TU.Responsible Sustainability Challenge workshop on 8 May focussing on Entrepreneurship; and the joint workshop with 4TU.Centre for High-Tech Materials on 13 May. This workshop addresses energy materials and sustainable recycling strategies. It’s a great opportunity to get together to share knowledge about materials for fuel cells, electrolysers, and CO2 capture and conversion.
