Innovation Attachées visit innovation hotspots in the East of NL

On November 2^nd, the Innovation Attaché Network of RVO (Netherlands Enterprise Agency) visited the province of Gelderland. The delegation consisted of 80 representatives (Innovation and Agriculture councils) from over 15 countries around the world.

They visited three innovation hotspots and engaged in discussions with entrepreneurs and scientists about significant societal challenges.

In Wageningen, they discussed "the future of agriculture and food," with a focus on the protein transition, particularly in cell-based foods, robotics, and biotechnology.

In Arnhem, the focus was on "the Energy transition," with an emphasis on hydrogen, the circular economy, and energy storage with a contribution of Prof. Mark Huijben of the Technical University of Twente (Battery research).

In Nijmegen, conversations centered around "Health & High tech", with a focus on Healthy Brain, Artificial Intelligence, and Semicon.
