 4TU scholar Aaron Ding (TU Delft) is organizing ICT.OPEN track on Responsible Digital Society together with Paula Grosso (UvA), taking place on 11th April 2024 in Utrecht. This ICT.OPEN track will feature a keynote by 4TU alumni Prof. Anne Fleur van Veenstra (TNO/Leiden) on responsible digitalisation, as well as 6 technical talks and 15 poster pitches, covering cutting-edge societal challenges including sustainability, trust, sovereignty and talent development. 

The exponential growth of computational power combined with the emergence of innovative machine learning (ML) algorithms offers a revolutionary paradigm in the realm of molecular discovery and scientific understanding. This workshop aims to create a dialogue between pure ML researchers, and scientists using cutting-edge models for data-centric scientific molecular and material discovery. 

Kick off the new year with the 4TU Design United PhD Day, February 14 in Utrecht! 

This workshop as the 1st milestone/live event after the kick-off of 4TU.Responsible Sustainability Challenge track 2023-2024, will take place at TU/e, on 8 Febuary 2024. We look forward to welcoming the honors master students within 4TU to this event

It is our great pleasure to announce that we will have our annual 4TU.NIRICT Community Day on December 13, 2023. This community meeting will offer the chance to meet with your 4TU colleagues, in an interactive and diverse program. More information can be found here and don’t forget to save the date.

The MaterialenNL Platform has announced its first national materials conference. On the 12th of December 2023, the MaterialenNL Conference 2023 will be held at the National Sports Centre Papendal, Arnhem. Prior to the MaterialenNL Conference, on the 11th of December, the M2i Community Conference takes place.

Innovative organisations depict their innovations at the Innovation Expo. Thanks to the connection of knowledge, policy, market and society, the Innovation Expo can help accelerate these innovations. In this way, the Innovation Expo contributes to scaling up, cooperation and financial support for innovations for a physical living environment in transition.

4TU.Design United will exhibit the latest design research conducted at the four Universities of Technology in the Netherlands during the Dutch Design Week this October

On 18 October 2023 the first symposium Additive Manufacturing of Energy Materials will take place at the U Parkhotel (University of Twente) in Enschede. This symposium is a joint 4TU.HTM & M2i initiative in collaboration with the University of Groningen.
