One in six of our 4,500+ ‘4TU’ alumni in the UK holds a PhD. That is an amazing concentration of research talent — and nowhere is it more visible than in London.
London based alumni are invited to an event celebrating this community. During this 'Meeting the alumni researchers' event at Imperial College, London on Tuesday 14 April 2026, London based alumni from TU Delft, TU Eindhoven, University of Twente, and Wageningen University can meet several researchers in small groups to hear briefly from their research and have a short chat.
These researchers are working on the frontiers of:
- AI & Robotics: From flapping-wing drones to AI-driven clinical decisions.
- Sustainability: Circular economy policy and global food security. Human Health: Brain-computer interfaces, clinical AI, skin tribology, and the molecular roots of human cells.
- The Future City: Energy system models and corporate strategy in the age of GenAI.
