The four Dutch universities of technology have launched a new Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) named ‘Entrepreneurship for Engineers’. It is designed to encourage and help more people put their ideas to innovative use and start their own company.
From start up to execution
The course helps to understand the process of entrepreneurship from a technology-oriented background. In six weeks’ time participants will be working on their idea in a team environment. Examples of founders and start-ups are being used during the course to initiate insightful discussions. The course closes with the creation of a two-page business plan and a video pitch.
The course started on 16 May, but it is still possible to enroll. The advised entreelevel is a BSc degree. Already 5000 participants signed up from 158 different countries.
