Project introduction and background information
This project focusses on a Wiki that contains a collection of educational tips for the higher education context. These tips are related to teaching that stimulates the different academic competences of students, so-called TACTICS, or Tips for Academic Competence Teaching, Inspired by the Criteria (Criteria for Academic Bachelor’s and Master’s Curricula, TU/e, 2007). Added are tips to improve students' scientific thinking and acting, related to the four dimensions of the same framework. In addition, the tips refer to specific concerns in teaching, in this case, Teaching Strategies for Activating Large Groups of Students, and Teaching Strategies for Differentiated Instruction.
The Wiki contains tips for the higher education specifically. The educational tips were not yet published and categorized.

Tactics
The tips are related specifically to teaching that stimulates the different academic competences of students, so-called TACTICS, or Tips for Academic Competence Teaching, Inspired by the Criteria (Criteria for Academic Bachelor’s and Master’s Curricula, TU/e, 2007).
Below, the seven competence areas are listed. In order to find the competences for a given competence area, click on that competence area. Next, in the list of competences for a given competence area, click on a competence to see the list of Tactics for that competence. Finally, in the list of Tactics for a given competence, clicking on a chosen Tactic brings you to the description of that Tactic.

Teaching Strategies for Differentiated Instruction
Differentiation on the one hand can be based on either readiness/prior knowledge, on interest/motivation, and or on learning profile/style.
