S. Kazem Banihashem received his Ph.D. in educational technology. His research focuses on learning analytics, learning design, technology-enhanced learning, peer feedback, and learning theories. He was a researcher at the University of British Columbia in 2018-2019 to work on learning analytics and learning design. Currently, he works as a postdoctoral researcher at Wageningen University & Research.

In this project, we aim to explore the effects of an online peer feedback support tool on various aspects of learning and writing where students with authentic essay writing tasks engage in thoughtful criticism of the work and/or performance of their peers using given criteria.
