CBL round table webinar discussion

Thursday September 21st 10.00-12.00 (Online event)

How to design for CBL that contributes to societal responsibility of all actors (i.e. students, teachers, and external stakeholders) and fosters collaborative learning and co-creation.

What is the (changing) role and responsibility for universities in designing this kind of education? How can we move towards participatory transdisciplinarity (Mobjörk, 2010), equal exchange of knowledge and co-creation and stimulating learning of all those involved? How can we get beyond addressing the technological aspects of challenges, but also critically address and reflect on for example normative, ethical aspects of a challenge? What stakeholders should then we then engage with apart from the bigger (technological) firms we work with (e.g, citizens, NGO’s, local, underrepresented or more extreme voices?). How

In this interactive round table webinar we will discuss several provocative statements on this challenging quest. Panel members are stakeholders representing universities as CBL teachers and researchers, local government, business, coach, and student. Different views and perspectives will be explored and discussed to find collaborative ways forward.

The session will be interactive, also for the audience. The panel members will respond to several statements and discuss their ideas after which the audience will be invited to respond, ask questions and share perspectives and experiences. Various interactive tools and forms will be used to make it an engaging and inspiring session going beyond “simply discussing CBL challenges”.
