Lunch colloquium 'Professional development for Higher Education teaching staff'
CELT and 4TU.CEE invite you for a lunch colloquium on 'Professional development for Higher Education teaching staff'. Dr. Monika Rummler (Centre for Scientific Continuing Education and Cooperation, TU Berlin) will present and discuss how TU Berlin is improving teaching and learning via continuing professional development of teaching staff.
Activating large classes, organising project based education and diversity issues are among the topics on the agenda. The workshop will be interactive with discussions on what should come next after basic teacher training modules.

About the speaker
Dr. Monika Rummler is deputy director of ZEWK (Centre for Scientific Continuing Education and Cooperation at TU Berlin.) She is responsible for the continuing education programme for the scientific staff of TU Berlin with the focus on teaching and learning. The teaching and learning curriculum has been successfully accredited by the German Association for Academic Development. She has been a project leader of TU wimi plus in which a training for teaching change agents has been developed.
