Webinar: Experiences and developments related to assessment and learning mechanisms in courses

Gunn Larsen and Brendan Dijkstra will present a learning mechanism and a practical. Both developed for a first year programming course for IEM students in Groningen. They are: 

The Three Color Pencil exam process (Active learning course mechanism adopted from Harvard Professor Eric Mazur where we make use of the automatic testing tool Matlab Grader and the peer review tool Feedbackfruit.)

The FESTO lab, where students control real machines and where they work in a simulated environment to develop and test their code.
