Education hackathon at TU Delft

The 3rd of October is all about 'eat-work-rave-repeat' during a 24-hours Education Hackathon at TU Delft. In 24-hours the future of education will be co-created together with students, innovators and educational enthusiasts. The hackers work on 5 challenges introduced by teachers of TU Delft. The aim of the Education Hackathon is to identify key challenges for education and co-create innovative solutions with students. The Hackathon kick-starts these projects and may lead to potential educational startups. This event is co-organized by 4TU.CEE, Leiden Delft Erasmus Centre for Education and Learning, Teaching Academy and YES!Delft.

Student awards

Students get peer support and connect with amazing people working on similar challenges from all around Europe. 50+ other hackathon that are simultaneously organised since we are all connected via DigiEduHack program. Winner of the TU Delft Hackathon wins €2500, 1250 cash and 1250 consulting hours to work on the idea. They also win a selection days spot YES!Delft Validation Lab if there is startup potential. The best international team can win €5000 in a global award contest.

Join

All teachers are welcome to see the final results of the 24-hours challenge at 4 October 08:45 at the Teaching Lab. Students start presenting their final results for a Jury around 09:00 o’clock. Currently we are still looking for more participants. So please let all your students know they are welcome to participate this Education Hackathon. They can register in a team or by themselves via www.digieduhack.com/delft-2019.
