Techmed 2026: Hospital of the future
Healthcare is under increasing pressure -rising costs, growing demand for care, and persistent staff shortages call for new ways of organising health services. Rapid technological and social innovation is opening the door to smarter, more efficient, patient-centred care- but this requires research, technology, education and practice to come together. On 5 November 2026, the TechMed Centre of the University of Twente in Enschede hosts the 8th edition of the TechMed Event, themed 'Hospital of the Future: Transforming Healthcare with Smart Medical Technology'.
