The TU Eindhoven invites us on 5–6 November 2026 for The Future of Science: How Intellectual Virtues Guide AI-Accelerated Science.
Generative AI is rapidly becoming embedded in scientific practice. While these technologies offer new possibilities for research, they also raise important questions about how we preserve the qualities that make scientific inquiry valuable: curiosity, critical thinking, intellectual autonomy, openness, and responsibility.
Across two days, we will bring together perspectives from philosophy, science, policy, and other disciplines to examine the opportunities, challenges, and broader implications of AI-accelerated science. The programme includes keynote talks, motivational talks, workshops, and panel discussions, with coffee breaks for networking and lunch included both days.
