Ioanna Hadjigeorgiou

I am a PhD researcher in Technology Ethics, working on “Anticipatory Ethics of Self-Sovereign Identity in Data Spaces” (DC8) within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network HARNESS, under the supervision of Dr. Yashar Saghai and Prof. Dr. Philip Brey.
I hold an MA in Human Rights from University College London (UCL) and an interdisciplinary BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Amsterdam University College. I have also recently completed an MA in Digital Transformation at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.
Before my PhD, I spent two and a half years working with NGOs advocating for migrant rights in Greece and Cyprus. I have also served as Postgraduate Representative for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) at UCL and as a Research Intern at the DE&I Office of the University of Amsterdam.
