Tom Dumoulin wins Giro d’Italia in aerodynamic suit

On Sunday 28 May, Dutch cyclist Tom Dumoulin won the Giro d'Italia. He carried the aerodynamic suit, which was co-developed by TU Delft. Dr Jouke Verlinden from the faculty of IDE has also contributed to this. He printed the 3D mannequin of Tom Dumoulin, This way, the cyclist did not have to come frequently to the wind tunnel for measurements.
