4TU.Health Event

Bridging Health and Engineering

The 4TU.Health Event on 28 May 2026 is entirely dedicated to the collaboration between technology and healthcare. Within 4TU.Health, engineers, health scientists, innovation managers, policy professionals, and healthcare practitioners combine their knowledge and expertise to accelerate innovations and ensure their effective implementation in practice. The day focuses on networking, exchanging ideas, and jointly shaping future priorities.

Looking Back and Looking Forward

We reflect on the results and lessons learned from 4TU.Health between 2022 and 2025, using these insights to guide the strategy for 2026–2030. Interactive sessions will explore themes such as imaging and AI, health in the living environment, bio-engineering technology, as well as issues related to education, valorisation, implementation, and entrepreneurship. Participants are actively invited to contribute ideas and collaboratively define concrete next steps for 4TU.Health.

The event also features an open space-style showcase, where ongoing projects, demonstrators, and results from the four technical universities are presented and experienced firsthand. This showcase serves as a foundation for discussions on scaling, collaboration, and translating ideas into impactful applications.

From Inspiration to Concrete Action

Researchers from the technical universities and external partners from healthcare, policy, and industry come together, enabling knowledge sharing to directly lead to new collaborations. The plenary panel discussion with representatives from healthcare, industry, and policy consolidates insights from the interactive sessions and helps set the strategic priorities for 4TU.Health.

The 4TU.Health Event is much more than a retrospective or a showcase: it is a working meeting where collaboration, inspiration, and innovation converge, and ideas are translated into concrete steps that advance healthcare.
