Diana van der Sloot is Managing Director of EIRES. Ever since her student days at Eindhoven University of Technology, she has been driven by a strong commitment to sustainability and the energy transition. With a background in Building Technology and early expertise in cradle-to-cradle design, she combines systems thinking with a pragmatic approach to implementation.
Throughout her career, Diana has worked as a sustainability consultant, strategist, and program manager, both in the private sector and in public administration. Before becoming Managing Director, Diana worked as EIRES Program Manager, where she focused on strengthening the EIRES community and fostering collaboration between researchers, industry partners, and public stakeholders. In this role, she gained extensive experience in connecting disciplines, aligning ambitions, and accelerating the translation of innovative research into real-world applications.
Diana has a strong focus on strengthening the community and building bridges between scientists, industry, and public partners. Her ambition is to accelerate the energy transition by turning cutting-edge research and innovative ideas into real-world solutions that can be applied at scale.
