About the Symposium
The energy transition is putting unprecedented pressure on electricity distribution systems. Challenges such as grid congestion, flexibility needs, and smart grid integration demand closer cooperation between academia and system operators.
This symposium provides a dedicated platform where:
- DSOs present their key challenges and innovation needs
- Researchers share ongoing projects, methods, and ideas
- New opportunities emerge for MSc theses, research collaborations, and joint funding proposals
- Future collaboration structures can be explored, including a potential DSO Ideation Hub
