The 2nd International Workshop on Computational Aspects of Energy Flexibility (CAEF) will take place on 22 June 2026 as part of the 17th ACM International Conference on Future and Sustainable Energy Systems (ACM e-Energy 2026).
The workshop addresses computational aspects of energy flexibility, bringing together researchers working on energy systems, optimization, ICT, and algorithms. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
- Mathematical modeling of flexibility (quantification, prediction, (dis)aggregation, data generation)
- Communication of flexibility (protocols, standardization, privacy, cybersecurity, robust ICT systems)
- Algorithms for using flexibility (coordination, distributed optimization, online and learning-augmented algorithms)
- Computational aspects of flexibility markets (market design, equilibria, computational efficiency)
📝 Submissions
Full papers (up to 6 pages) and short/position papers (up to 4 pages) are invited. Submissions follow the ACM double-column, 9-point format and are single-blind reviewed.
Accepted papers will appear in the ACM Digital Library (ACM).
⏰ Paper registration & submission deadline:
