Join us during our summer event on 5 July on the campus of TU Eindhoven. The main purpose of the event is to get to know new colleagues, explore common research or teaching interests, invite collaboration, and catch up with old friends.

4TU.AMI organises a parallel session during this year's Netherlands Mathematical Congress (NMC), held at the Van der Valk Hotel in Utrecht. The NMC aims at all mathematicians, from pure to applied, and from junior to senior.

The math advent calendar invites secondary school pupils to discover the beauty and power of math beyond the subjects covered in school.

11th and 12th April 2019: 4TU.AMI Conference “Mathematics Education: the next decade and beyond”. The conference will bring together Mathematicians and teachers of Mathematics in Higher Education to explore and discuss new trends and innovations in Mathematics education.

Date: 28 January - 1 Februari 2019 Location: congress center WICC in Wageningen Organization: Jaap Molenaar (WUR), Vivi Rothschäfer (RUL) en Alessandro di Bucchianico (TU/e) The Study Group Mathematics with Industry (SWI) is a combined industrial–academic week-long workshop sponsored by NWO. Roughly seventy mathematicians work in groups on problems submitted by companies. Companies present a selection of problems on Monday. The participants devote the entire week to studying these problems in smaller groups, and presents their results on Friday. SWI is ideal for companies that are new to cooperation with academia. The event is often a first step towards a fruitful long-term collaboration between companies and academia.
