Research

4TU.AMI stimulates and encourages collaborations between the four Dutch universities of technology and beyond.

Research teams (SRIs)

Within AMI, research is organised in research teams or Strategic Research Initiatives (SRIs). These are collaborations between university researchers, centered around a central research topic with a concrete goal. A possible goal could be to initiate the cooperation on a new specific research topic or to write a joint grant proposal. SRIs have a timespan of around 2 years. At the end of the agreed timespan, an SRI can apply for an extension of the timespan hereby specifying the concrete remaining topics and the additional goals to be reached.

Click here for an overview of ongoing SRIs.

Are you a researcher at TUD, TU/e, UT or WUR? And would you like to learn more about creating a research initiative at AMI? Download the informationsheet and application form here.

AMI researchers

At AMI researchers you will find a complete list of all applied mathematics chairs of the four universities.

Research requests

Do you have a research request? Or do you want to know which kind of applied research is being or has been conducted regarding certain topics? Don’t hesitate to contact us. We know what’s going on in the field of (applied) mathematics and will link you to the right researchers or research groups.

Research data

The 4TU.Federation has a center for research data. It offers researchers knowledge, experience and tools for sharing and safely preserving applied scientific research data. Check out 4TU Research Data if you need help to archive your data.
