This September, I started as a lecturer at the University of Twente.
After obtaining my PhD from TU/e, I moved to Canada to work as a post-doc at the University of Waterloo, where I spent five years.
My research background is in the analysis of large combinatorial systems, with a focus on random matroids and related objects. I'm intrigued by the interplay between probability theory and combinatorics in this setting. I regularly write about my research at the Matroid Union blog: http://matroidunion.org/?author=18
I've always been excited about teaching as well as research, in particular in working with students and seeing their abilities grow.
