4TU.NIRICT is the Netherlands Institute for Research on ICT and comprises all ICT research of the universities of technology in the Netherlands.

On Tuesday, 17 March 2026, the 4TU.NIRICT PhD School brought together 26 PhD candidates from across the Netherlands at the Crowne Plaza Utrecht Central Station for an inspiring day of lectures, discussions, and networking. The event focused on emerging computing paradigms, including sustainable computing, quantum computing, and neuromorphic computing. 

The DEI project “Leading by Example: Female Leadership for Visibility and Inclusion in ICT” has received joint funding from 4TU.NIRICT (Netherlands Institute for Research on ICT) and 4TU Centre for Energy.

With teams from TU Delft, TU/e, and UT, the project will showcase female role models in ICT and energy, host workshops, lectures, and explore a “Best Female Paper Award”.
