Two open calls 4TU.NIRICT 2022

4TU.NIRICT currently has two open calls:  

Call Community Funding

The goal of this funding scheme is to strengthen and support collaboration among researchers and practitioners of the 4TU.NIRICT community, increasing the impact of ICT research in The Netherlands. This call therefore explicitly aims to support all activities that help in strengthening the 4TU.NIRICT community.

For whom?
The call is aimed primarily at 4TU.NIRICT central staff members, but doctoral candidates, students or employees of other universities can also take part, providing that the various conditions are met.  

Available budget
For this call 4TU.NIRICT has allocated a maximum budget of €60k. The maximum amount of funding that can be requested per proposal is 30k.

Timeline
Applications can be submitted until June 1, 2022 to Program Manager Margje Mommers (m.mommers@tue.nl) and applicants will be notified of the decision on acceptance at the latest June 20, 2022. The funding should be spent within one year after it has been awarded.

Call Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

The goal of this funding scheme is to increase Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) within the 4TU.NIRICT community and our research and educational activities. Diversity refers to the composition of teams and organizations, Equity to ensuring people get support that aligns with their needs, and Inclusion to ensuring that all members feel valued and are able to contribute and develop their talents.

For whom?
The call is aimed primarily at 4TU.NIRICT central staff members, but doctoral candidates, students or employees of other universities can also take part, providing that the various conditions are met. 

Available budget
The total amount of funding available for this programme is 30K. We expect to be able to fund around 2-3 proposals with this budget. 

Timeline
Applications can be submitted continuously to Program Manager Margje Mommers (m.mommers@tue.nl) , and the funding should be spent within one year after it has been awarded.

The goal of 4TU.NIRICT is to strengthen and support collaboration among researchers and practitioners of the 4TU institutes working in the ICT domain. It promotes cross-disciplinary collaboration beyond institutional boundaries, as well as the diversity and inclusion of the Dutch ICT research community. In this way it intends to increase the impact of ICT research in The Netherlands.
