4TU.NIRICT Track @ ICT.OPEN – Call for Abstracts
For ICT.OPEN 2026, we invite you to submit an abstract to the 4TU.NIRICT track: ICT in the National Technology Strategy of the Netherlands
In this session organized by 4TU.NIRICT, we will have a closer look to the role of ICT in the National Technology Strategy (NTS) of the Netherlands.
The goal of the session is twofold:
- Highlight emerging research and innovation directions in line with or supporting the NTS
- Identify what we, as the ICT community, need to realize the NTS ambitions.
We aim to identify current ICT research initiatives that can be built upon and generate new collaborations & teams to pursue the NTS goals.

The deadline for the abstract submission is 13 January 2026 (23:59 CET). The portal will close automatically afterwards.
Please note the following Submission Guidelines that apply and read them carefully before you submit your abstract:
- The person submitting the abstract should be the presenting author of the work.
- An abstract for a presentation consists of max. 250 words and (optional) max. 2 figures;
- When including 1 or 2 figures, they must be combined to 1 PDF document of max. 2 pages;

NWO ICT.OPEN 2026 will take place on 15–16 April 2026 at De Doelen, Rotterdam.
