The requested funding will establish the first symposium on "Algorithms and Hardware for Embedded AI," which we plan to organize as a recurring event thereafter.
Embedded AI systems represent a rapidly evolving field critical for advancing efficient artificial intelligence solutions for resource-constrained environments and edge computing. The Netherlands hosts a vibrant community actively engaged in embedded AI research and industry innovation, making it uniquely positioned to lead European and global developments in this domain. Establishing a dedicated symposium as a recurring event in NL will significantly enhance collaborative research, attract international visibility, and strengthen long-term connections between academia and leading Dutch tech industries.
