Kees Vuik,Ā Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Computer Science at Delft University of Technology and former Scientific Director of 4TU+.AMI, who has been honourably dismissed with effect from 25 January 2026, intends to deliver a farewell lecture entitled:
'Calculated in Delft'
on Friday 29 May 2026 in theĀ Aula building (Auditorium, 3rd floor), Mekelweg 5 in Delft.Ā The lecture starts at 3pm, doors open at 2.30pm.
The Rector Magnificus of Delft University of Technology, Prof. H. Bijl, hereby invites you to attend this academic ceremony. After the speech, there will be an opportunity to congratulate Prof.Ā Vuik.
Prior to the farewell lecture, the Farewell Symposium for Prof.Ā KeesĀ VuikĀ will take place at the Art Centre in Delft, starting at 9.30am (including lunch). Further information about the symposium can be found on the websiteĀ https://www.aanmelder.nl/173669/.
Professors from TU Delft and other universities are also welcome to join the procession. They should arrive at the Senate Hall (Aula building, 2nd floor) no later than 2.30pm. Professors are kindly requested to wear the gown/cap of their university.
