The demand for leaders in sustainable innovation is larger than ever before. The Engineering Doctorate (EngD) Design for Agrifood & Ecological Systems at Wageningen University of Technology therefore equips trainees with the skills required to face both technical and design challenges as future leaders in the field of sustainability.
The EngD Agrifood & Ecological Systems is a two-year post-master programme focussed on the design of a sustainable future. Trainees are provided with a solid scientific foundation, advanced design expertise and extensive professional development preparing them for leading roles in technology management.
The post-master programme is designed to encourage the development of high-quality and innovative solutions to sustainability challenges through an interdisciplinary approach. The resulting designs are intended to directly or indirectly advance sustainability in agriculture, animal husbandry, and the broader living environment.
