I am an Assistant Professor at University College Dublin. During my research career I have collaborated with multiple stakeholders in the application of uncertainty assessment for critical infrastructures. My main research interests involve uncertainty characterization and probabilistic analysis applied to critical infrastructures. In the present, I am researching new techniques and methodologies to enable the quantification of uncertainty and its influence in the decision mechanisms that rule the design, adaptation and recovery of critical infrastructures to disaster events.
Through the 4TU RE I pursue to become part of a larger network of researchers that are addressing issues of critical importance for the societies, many of which can only be tackled in the context of a wide collaborative approach.
