Filippo Santoni de Sio appointed professor at Philosophy and Ethics

Starting from 1 September, Filippo Santoni de Sio has a new position as professor at the at Philosophy and Ethics research group at TU Eindhoven.

His research focuses on issues of freedom, responsibility and democracy, especially in relation to emerging technologies such as AI and robotics.

Santoni is also excited about his new position: “The Philosophy and Ethics research group at TU/e has an excellent reputation in the field of ethics and technology. I look forward to working with colleagues and students to contribute to groundbreaking research and education, and a caring work environment. My focus will be on the ethical and political implications of artificial intelligence, topics on which I have just published a book titled Human Freedom in the Age of AI.”
