The fifth edition of the FAIR Data Fund is now open for applications!
The FAIR Data Fund offers researchers the opportunity to apply for financial support to cover the costs of making their datasets FAIR – Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. By making research data FAIR, researchers increase its visibility, accessibility, and long-term impact.
Following the success of previous editions, this year we again welcome applications from researchers and research projects at Delft University of Technology, University of Twente, Eindhoven University of Technology, and Wageningen University & Research. A total of eight winners will be selected, each receiving up to €5000 to support their project.
4TU.ResearchData believes in the added value of making research data FAIR, while recognising that it requires additional time and effort. The FAIR Data Fund is designed to help researchers who wish to make existing datasets FAIR – it is not intended for the creation of new data – and is aimed at situations where no other funding resources are available.
Opening date: 3 November 2026
Closing date: 4 January 2026
