Then, you are cordially invited, on behalf of the 3TU.Federation, to attend the 3TU. Innovation & Technology Conference, which will be held at 6 December 2013 at the Eindhoven University of Technology. The Conference will start at 10.00 and the day will end with a gathering at 16.30 which gives you the opportunity to network with fellow attendees from the corporate world.
The three leading universities of technology in the Netherlands - Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology and the University of Twente - have joined forces in the 3TU.Federation. Over the years, 9 Centres of Excellence have been established. They focus each on special research projects and programmes within their area. The conference represents an outstanding opportunity to get an impression of the accomplishments of the Centres until now and to share ideas and future aspirations.The universities have put together both an interactive and informative programme with showcases at the technology fair, interactive workshops, and lectures, all in the areas of High Tech & Health and Energy & Mobility.
The technology fair represents a perfect showcase for Dutch innovations and high-tech solutions, using attractive and innovative set-up’s which will be presented by enthusiastic researchers and students from the three Technical Universities. During the lectures you will be informed about the latest developments in the fields of high-tech, health, energy, and mobility. The workshops will give you the opportunity to actively engage in debates on current and future affairs and your knowledge will be put to the test during quizzes.
On December 6th 2013 the 3TU.Federation will organise an Innovation & Technology Conference at the campus of the Eindhoven University of Technology. The impact and results of the work of our 5 ‘Centres of Excellence’ will be presented to partners in industry, government and academic colleagues. The morning and afternoon programme will include a Technology Fair with breakout workshops, clips and interesting short lectures. After the final session a gathering will organised and drinks will be served.
The ‘Centres of Excellence’ have been established at the beginning of the cooperation between the 3 technical universities. They have received a joint grant of 50 million euros with which they aim to create a joint research focus in the fields of High Tech Systems, Sustainable Energy Technologies, ICT, Fluid & Solid Mechanics and Applications of Nanotechnology. Over the past six years 60 new academic jobs have been created on which international talent has been appointed. For more information, click here.
