Mizu demonstrates how use of materials, connection to the internet and a ‘smart’ product application can help people to reflect on and anticipate their consumer behavior. The ‘smart washstand’ adjusts the temperature of the water to a person’s habits, switches the boiler off automatically and wears out more quickly as (unnecessary) use increases.
