HiPP: BioCoach Exercising at home with a digital coach
Hip-replacement patients wear the BioCoach around their leg during their revalidation period at home. The sensor module stores the exercises performed by the patient and accurately records the patient's progress so that the physiotherapist and (if required) the orthopaedist can also figuratively look over the patient's shoulder. Patients feel as though they are exercising ‘with a personal trainer’.
