The project goal is to communicate the comforting elements of touch between parents and their prematurely born baby. When a child is born premature it is placed inside an incubator in the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. In this situation parental touch is of utmost importance in order to comfort these babies. This project demonstrates an intelligent system that allows parents to provide this comforting touch when they are away from the hospital.
