Suppose a designer wants to cooperate with two companies operating in completely different domains. What will such a cooperation look like? Pelin Atasoy: “Each stakeholder wants something different and has his own perspective. This may promote the development of innovative ideas, but it also makes the initial cooperation difficult. How to bring all parties together and jointly develop a single good idea?” To support those first brainstorm sessions Atasoy developed the Value Design Canvas. This is a method to explore the possibilities of a cooperation in a structural fashion. Step by step the stakeholders follow the Value Design Canvas. The result is a concept plus a plan for the realisation of this concept.
