Students have different styles of learning. Last year I have set up a course in which I challenged myself to address these different learning styles by providing different learning tools and by explaining in different ways (using a.o. Lego, movies, a Quiz ...). I will provide you with some examples from my experiences like letting the students make exam questions during the lecture, implementing part of a European MOOC and having chairing sessions with in-depth discussions on a mini-symposium for which the students made their own videos. You will in an interactive way dive into what you already provide to the students and could add and discuss this with the group. My expectation is that after this workshop we all (including me) will have some new ideas about how to trigger the students more into understanding more easily the materials they are offered.
