Lighthouse Projects 2017

4TU.Bouw ‘Lighthouse Projects’ is calling for imaginative research proposals on topics addressing one of our National Science Agenda themes.
4TU Delft
4TU Eindhoven
4TU Twente
4TU Wageningen

4TU.Bouw ‘Lighthouse Projects’ is seeking imaginative research project proposals that are related to one of our National Science Agenda themes.

The ‘imaginative’ nature of the research proposals, as well as the delivery of tangible results (e.g. prototypes, test environments, and so on), distinguishes Lighthouse Projects from other funding schemes. The relatively short project term of 4TU.Bouw Lighthouse Projects – delivery of tangible results in 2017 – appeals to ‘fast-track’ and ‘high-risk’ proposals. 4TU.Bouw is aiming for various levels of collaboration with industry and end-user parties.

A Lighthouse Project proposal is eligible for selection when at least two out of the following three 4TU.Bouw partner-universities are involved in the project – partner from Wageningen University and Research Centre has yet to be determined:

- Delft University of Technology – Architecture and the Built Environment & Civil Engineering and Geosciences,
- Eindhoven University of Technology – Built Environment,
- University of Twente – Engineering Technology

Awarded projects will receive funding up to the amount of 50.000,- EURO. 4TU.Bouw will monitor and facilitate the progress of the projects and promote the results. The Research to Reality conference 2017 (November) will conclude the project term.

Please send your Lighthouse Project proposal to: info@4tubouw.nl
