The 4TU.Bouw consortium has collaborated in the BTIC to draft the Strategic Program ‘Digitalization’ (in Dutch only).
This Knowledge & Innovation Program aims to enhance the necessary and far reaching digital transformation in the building-, technology- and design sector and the digital development needed. The digital transformation will enable new business models to tackle existing barriers in before mentioned sectors to be able to build safer, faster and more sustainable with a higher return on investment.
The digitalization program entails subtopics like digital twinning, robotization, Artificial Intelligence and Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality. These digital developments are translated into different knowledge- and innovation lines which will be addressed in sub programs.
The first sub program is on Digital Twins. Further development of the strategic agenda and the remaining sub programs will be executed in the course of 2020.
