Research partners

4TU.AMI promotes and invests in joint projects to stimulate national and European collaboration.

In 2009 4TU.AMI signed an agreement with MATHEON, a DFG Research Center for Applied Mathematics in Berlin. Founded in 2002. MATHEON is a joint initiative of the Berlin universities (FU, HU and TU) and mathematical research centers (WIAS and ZIB).

The scientists of MATHEON develop new methods in modeling, simulation, and optimization for real world processes in all key technology areas.

In the Netherlands all mathematical organizations are united under the national umbrella of Platform Wiskunde Nederland (PWN). 4TU.AMI is member of the Innovation Committee of PWN.

PWN unites all aspects of the practice of the mathematics profession namely research, education, innovation, publications and publicity.

The European Consortium for Mathematics in Industry (ECMI) is a consortium of academic institutions and industrial companies. It acts cooperatively to educate Industrial Mathematicians and to promote and support the use of mathematical modelling, simulation, and optimization in any activity of social or economic importance on a European scale.
